The Onion's AV Club's Nathan Rabin is one of my favorite culture critics. This year he's ambitiously trying to write two blog-posts a week about Films that Flopped, and their redeeming qualities. I'm hoping they'll set up a page that has links to all of them, but the above link has links to his first five film discussions: Elizabethtown, Envy, Ishtar, What a Way to Go, and 1941. The link also has his philosophy on why this is a worthwhile endeavor. Check it out, and let's see if he can keep it up and make "the name “Nathan Rabin” to be synonymous with colossal failure."
