In news from Broadway, Ellen Burstyn's one-woman show, The Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells all, has closed after one performance. Can I just say that anyone who didn't see this coming clearly hadn't spent any time in the real pop culture world in a long, long time? Regardless of whether it's good or bad, no one woman show (about an old woman, no less) is going to be successful in a big Broadway house. I'm all into those girly shows and even I thought it sounded awful! However, note that Ellen Burstyn is not the only one having trouble on Broadway: Farrah Fawcett's star vehicle, Bobbi Boland, closed while still in previews, before it even opened. Anonymous
